Here we are at Winter Solstice.
As we approach the centre point of the labyrinth and pause in preparation for our return, as we meet the pivot point of darkest night and the kindling anew of the light, what is it that we are leaving behind, what is being dismantled to create space for the imminence of becoming? What skin are we shedding, what new pelt is asking to be grown?
At this fulcrum of deepest descent what of the enshadowed self is asking to be seen, made visible, in the half-light, in the gloaming?
As we pause at this liminal edge, of what is known within us and what is newly emergent, pushing up from dark soil, who is it in us that seeks witness?
Which garments are we being asked to disrobe from? What stories have we outgrown? What roles are no longer ours to inhabit? What patterns, ideas, behaviours are no longer meant for us?
We will gather for a poem and a story and a lighting of the midwinter flame, in hearts and hearths, as we bear witness to ourselves and each other, through reflection and sharing.
Please bring whatever you need to be comfortable, a snack, a cuppa, a candle, some materials for giving form, your good selves.
